The above guide line only can help for application, for interview pls take easy & don’t be nervous, especially don’t show in front of the kids. Otherwise, will affect their performance during the interview time! I don’t think interview training course is useful for kids but if you apply traditional famous school may be need. All my comment is let your kid show what she/he really is. If can’t apply that school, may be that school is not suitable for she/he.

聖保羅書院小學陳慕珍校長提供貼士

港島區最受歡迎的直資男校——聖保羅書院小學，去年就收到725份報名表，平均8.1人角逐1個學額，是甚多家長的心儀小學之一。今日請來校長陳慕珍親自解答各位家長的問題。

「獲取錄的小孩大部分並無提交個人檔案」

問﹕遞交申請表時，需要提交孩子的個人檔案（Portfolio）、獎狀或其他興趣班的資料嗎﹖製作精美，甚至加上孩子教育基金資料、家長事業目標等，會否增加入學機會﹖

聖保羅書院小學校長陳慕珍認為，家長只要清楚填妥報名表，及提交校方要求的文件，便毋須額外附上小孩的個人檔案。她說﹕「我印象中獲取錄的小朋友中，大部分並沒有提交個人檔案。」

不過，若家長很想遞交孩子的獎狀及其他資料，校方亦不會拒絕，但未必一定能增加入學機會。

至於教育基金、家長事業目標等，她說﹕「這些一概與小朋友入學無關。」

「無任何課外活動，但面談表現好，亦有機會」

問﹕學校是否著重孩子的課外興趣，特別是音樂活動，並作為收生參考準則之一﹖

聖保羅書院小學的申請表上，除了有音樂類課外活動可填寫外，亦同時有體育、美術及其他項目，陳校長指主要看孩子是否有均衡發展的潛質，不會因項目特多而加分。她說﹕「就算孩子無任何課外活動，但面談表現很好，亦有機會被取錄。」課外活動僅參考之一，陳校長指他們亦會參考幼稚園老師的評估，面見表現亦重要。她說﹕「若活動寫滿紙，來面見卻不理睬我，我亦不會給他學位。」

問﹕坊間有些教育機構建議家長讓孩子學習「另類」樂器（如豎琴）或活動（如騎馬），以增加「入學勝算」，是否屬實﹖

陳校長表示，有些家長因為家庭傳統，喜歡讓孩子學習某種特別活動，例如全家都學弦樂，她十分支持，但她表示並不會因而增加獲取錄的勝算。

「我喜歡學校裏有不同性格的小朋友」

問﹕若孩子個性較內向、慢熱，面試時是否較吃虧﹖如何才能突出個人優點﹖

陳校長覺得小朋友在5歲階段，無必要教他不自然的、人工的技巧，以突出個人優點。她說﹕「慢熱不等於一句話也不說，只要不是5分鐘說不出一句話就可以。我也接觸過慢熱內向的孩子，但他們亦樂於交談。害羞有害羞的表達方法，我也喜歡學校裏有不同性格的小朋友。」

「學校有多種類型的學生」

問﹕最喜歡和最多取錄哪類型與哪間幼稚園的學生﹖

陳校長表示他們有多種類型的學生﹕音樂型、讀書型、反斗型、文靜型、運動型等等。而據她記憶所及，申請者多來自中西區各間幼稚園，她說﹕「各間幼稚園都有值得給予學位的小朋友。」故篩選時絕無任何偏好。

「面見話題環繞日常生活」

問﹕面見的內容及要求如何﹖會考孩子的能力，如英語、普通話、音樂演奏等各方面的能力嗎﹖有何評選準則﹖

上述均非陳校長考核的範圍，她說﹕「我們依照教統局指引，話題環繞小朋友日常生活經驗，不排除給他看一本兒童書或獨立圖片，又或用物件引出一些話題。」面見主要看孩子臨場表現，至於孩子的學術成績，則會參考就讀學校的評估報告。家長應留意該校雖為直資小學，但仍有計分制度，例如兄長、父親曾在該校（包括中學部）就讀，小朋友可加分﹔校長亦會根據孩子面見表現加分。

問﹕面見前要準備什麼﹖

陳校長認為帶小朋友到陌生地方，最基本是給他心理準備，了解來這學校做什麼。其次是一些家庭平日應有的基本禮貌訓練，包括傾談時有目光接觸﹔適當時說「多謝」與「唔該」﹔與人合作﹔不要跑來跑去等。故陳校長覺得除非孩子「學極都學不會」，否則毋須參加面試班由專人訓練。

「家長背景完全無關，全職媽媽不會有優勢」

問﹕家長的背景和學歷與學生是否被取錄有關嗎﹖全職媽媽是否較有優勢﹖

陳校長說﹕「這些完全無關，全職媽媽也不會有優勢。」

她建議雙職父母，最基本是先給孩子的照顧者充足指引，提供足夠的照顧。她說﹕「我聽過有小朋友回家數小時，直至父母回來，還未換校服，又怎能再要求父母給他們學業指導與幫助﹖」下班後無論多累，亦應最少花數分鐘跟孩子傾談，包括了解學校生活，並給孩子指導功課。若孩子有不懂的地方，應了解原因，有需要時跟老師商量。

「計分制，兄在學，弟佔優」

問﹕若哥哥能入讀聖保羅書院小學，弟弟將來能入讀的機會有多高﹖

由於聖保羅書院小學設計分制，故有兄長在學，弟弟就算對答水準一般，亦佔優勢。但陳校長說﹕「若弟弟面見時不合作、不瞅不睬，我們亦未必會在第一輪給他學位。」

性教育 學生想有say！

【明報專訊】年初的藝人裸照風波，讓學界再度關注青少年性教育的問題。香港性教育、研究及治療專業協會在事件後進行調查，大部分受訪中小學生希望學校增加性教育的課堂，而不是在某些社會事件發生後，才「補鑊」式教授。這顯示學生追求的不只是性知識，更是容許開放討論「性」的學習氣氛。

香港性教育、研究及治療專業協會以小組訪談形式，蒐集了145名小五至中六學生（57男、88女）的意見，受訪學生八成念中三或以上，分別來自12間學校（包括1間小學）。

之前發生網上流傳藝人裸照事件，不少學校趁機推行性教育，但受訪學生普遍認為，學校就不雅照片事件的教育活動，反應過大，「要教育亦不是到這個時候才特別針對」。

期望討論 抗拒填鴨

亦有學生認為，現時的學校性教育形式太單向，「只有老師講，學生沒有討論及表達意見的空間」，覺得校方並沒有認真關注「性」的課題，只採取可避則避的態度。學生希望學校性教育能深入談論，容許發問，不做「填鴨」。

他山之石，可以攻錯。哪些國家的學校性教育方向，可以供香港參考？

香港性教育、研究及治療專業協會會長邱貴生指出，香港的社會及經濟環境，雖然跟美國較為接近，同樣是經濟掛帥的社會，但是美國的少女未婚懷孕率十分高（15 至19歲少女中，每1000人有93宗），顯示當地的性教育並不成功。他建議，本港可參考歐洲國家如荷蘭及瑞士的性教育政策。

荷蘭談性 6歲開始

「兩國政府在推行性教育時投放了很多資源，也能營造一個開放的氣氛，不羞於談性，不單讓青少年，也讓整體人民有個開放的平台，討論性議題。」荷蘭孩子6歲便接受性教育，學習性知識，不會視「性」為禁忌的話題；父母也樂於與孩子討論性話題。或者大家會懷疑，孩子這麼小開始接觸「性」，會否令他們容易想入非非？原來情正正相反，當地少女未婚懷孕的比例，是全歐洲最低，15至19歲少女中，每1000人有8.1宗；青少年首次性行為的平均年齡約17歲。荷蘭的性教育內容，主要覑重教導青少年如何尊重自己及他人的身體、如何保護自己、怎樣決定或拒絕伴侶的性要求等。

香港人行為開放，思想卻保守，正正需要一個開放的平台，讓青少年談情說性，相比在互聯網上，或友儕間討論似是而非的性話題，效果更佳。

兩國推行性教育時，亦有清晰的教學指引，瑞士便立法規定學校必須教授「全面性教育課程」。「性教育最理想是專科專教。政府除了投放資源外，亦須制定清晰的教學指引，如學生在哪個階段能學到什麼。」要做到專科專教，教師的培訓自然不能忽視。

專科專教 加強師訓

現時本地學校的普遍做法，是將性教育的不同範疇，分拆在不同的科目裏教授。例如有關生理的知識，會安排在生物科裏教授；而道德方面的，則多被列入宗教科裏。

雖然教育局認為，把性教育的課題融入學校課程中，能順理成章地成為學習的一部分，但邱貴生則指出，分拆地教授，學生不但未能接收到連貫的性知識，個別學校亦會因其自身的宗教背景，對性教育的內容「自我審查」，影響學生從正常渠道獲得性知識。「就如早前有天主教背景的中學，將中一科學課本內有關兩性器官的內容撕去。連這樣的內容也容不下，性教育很難推行下去。」

性教育除了關乎教育部門的政策外，其他政府部門亦需要互相配合。

以去年至今年發生的一連串事件，如《中大學生報》事件、藝人豔照風波為例，「淫褻物品審裁處表現出搖擺不定的態度。他們不是有一套客觀標準來幫助評級的嗎？可是當接到投訴後，便好像沒有立場一樣，時鬆時緊，政府又不會站出來為事件解畫」。這樣的社會氣氛，會影響學生判斷哪些才是正確的性知識。
